The precious and fleeting moments with a Kingfisher, the river flowing, the presence of trees, the sensitivity of life.

I’m inspired by the natural world, the human journey and the spiritual connection which embraces it. Nature’s spirit, wisdom, dynamic energy and the subtle moments of experience, find their way into my paintings.

I use mixed media, inks, graphite and often paint in nature, plein air. I also write.

When creating, there’s usually been a string of moments coming together over time, sometimes years, forming its own journey and cycle. Then, in that special moment it arrives, with aliveness and life, finding its place onto the paper, onto artists board.
